Do yourself a favor and sit through this six-minute presentation. Regardless what you think about Ms. Carano or her perceived sexual marketing, she sure seems to understand what she wants out of MMA.



It's refreshing to see someone of her stature in a sport that's willing to take the high road and avoid selling her body over her skills. And is it just me or does Tara LaRosa come off as a little jealous? Thoughts?

COCONUT CREEK - Gina Alvarez ran over to her father for a congratulatory high-five after beating her cousin, T.J. Vazquez, at the Alex "Bada" Andrade Mixed Martial Arts Memorial Tournament.

Louis Alvarez, Steve and Joy Erched, and several other parents sat along the grappling mats at American Top Team Coconut Creek watching their kids compete Saturday while several ATT pros, including Antonio "Big Foot" Silva, worked out in the nearby practice cage.

Between kids, parents and coaches, it was hard to figure out who was enjoying the three-hour tournament more.

For those of you lucky enough to make it out to UFC 84, there'll now be an extra treat after the fights. Dana White himself will be hosting the official "Ill Will" after party at Privé. Regardless how you feel about Dana White, you have to admit that an official UFC after party has got to be kickin'.
