I studied MMA before this became a popular sport, and these guys commit. It costs to do what they do, just like the other sports. Oh yeah, lets not forget the risks that they take to entertain. Now to Tito's argument the fighters do deserve money the total base fighter payroll for UFC 81 was $892,000 which I think is total screwing the fighters. The should at least bump that up to 2mill which is chump change to them. Thats my 2 scents. It is a win win for everyone envolved the fighters - mma and the ufc - its simple it grows market - grows fan base and grows revenue - if the ufc cannot see this they need to hire me.....
